6th month...

20th Oct 2007,

Darling wrote the best and sweetest blog entry as yet for our 6th month anniversary. Totally tian tian de. Hence I cannot keep mum and not blog about it even though my laptop internet function totally screwed up! I gotta 'chased' my brother away from his desktop so that I have the chance to blog.
Haha...
20th October 2007, I woke up in the morning feeling great. I know it is going to be a great day since she is feeling exceptionally high! When she is in good mood, she can do the sweetest thing that you least expected. Read her blog and you will get what I mean. Haha...
6 months just flew passed and many things have had happened. I cannot possibly blog down everything but I know I am truly happy. No one relationship is without its fair share of hiccups but we both know that Branchel's Love will truimphs all. Any setback is just another hurdle cleared. In place are better understanding and a step nearer towards the future.
Darling has a pair of easily cold hands, when I hold it I know I can provide her with all the warmth that she needs. When she digged her head and snuggled up my chest, I know I can provide her with all the security she needs. When she looks deep into my eyes, I can truly sense her love and emotional dependency for me. I truly hoped she can sense mine too...
Although what lies in the future is unpredictable but I know it will be beautiful as long as we 'sail' together in the right course. Remember? She is my navigator. *Giggles*
Rachel, I want to thank you for all the wonderful memories that we shared... Trust me, all of them are absolutely beautiful. Just like you are... 121212
I love you. *shy*

You are my Sunshine...

7th October 2007,

You're my sunshine after the rain
You're the cure against my fear and my pain
Cuz I'm losing my mind when you're not around
Its all (It's all) It's all because of you
Baby I, really know by now
Since we met that day
You showed me the way
I felt it then you gave me love I can't describe
How much I feel for you
I said baby I should have known by now
Should heave been reight there whenever you gave me love
And if only you were here
I'd tell you yes I'd tell you(oh yeah)
You're my sunshine after the rain
You're the cure against my fear and my pain
Cuz I'm losing my mind when you're not around
Its all (It's all) It's all because of you
If I knew how to tell you what's on my mind(make you understand)
Then I'd always be there right by your side
You're my sunshine after the rain
You're the cure against my fear and my pain
Cuz I'm losing my mind when you're not aroundI
ts all (It's all) It's all because of you
You're my sunshine
You're my sunshine
Oh, yeah

Young PAP...

3rd October 2007,

A glimspe into the operation of the People's Action Party. Situated at an old Bedok estate, no one can imagine such an humble building actually belongs to a party which have governed Singapore for the past 42 years. When I first saw it, I thought I arrived at the wrong place. All because the PAP's building look like an old community centre back in the 90's. I were only assured that was the place when members of the Young PAP came to ask me whether I was there for the party introductory session... Gosh...This is the exact place where our MM Lee Kuan Yew helps to grow PAP into what it is today and it has such a 'humble' notation behind that little building. Most probably the party just want to portray a clean, honest and humble party image to the public and the world. Mind you, senior party members from China came for exchanges and they were totally taken aback by what they saw. It is a total contrast to what they have back home. In China, the communist party's buildings are always the grandest and most modern one at all level; provincial, county and at state level. In this case, I think PAP has succeeded.
The guest for the day was comrade Ms Josephine Teo, Member of Parliament for Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC, Vice- Chairman for Young PAP, Director of NTUC Youth Development Unit and Human Resource Department. The moment she entered the auditorium, she already made a lasting impression on me. Friendly, no air(at least to the party members), confident, persuasive and very mentor-like. The informal introductory session was very informative and worthwhile. She gave plenty of personal experiences and she even managed to keep the conversation on-going for two hours or so... I listened with a very open-mind, not wanting to be influenced any 'myth'. I was amused with the way she was able to address all the ministers and MPs by their names, except for MM, SM, PM and our President. Haha. In the party, the 'barrier' was broken down to the minimum to encourage camaraderie within the party...
Last but not least, I left the PAP HQ with a 'bag' of new experience...

Perankan Hunting...

Two weeks ago...

A trip down to the eastern part of Singapore...

Darling was always fascinated about my 1/4 Peranakan bloodline... Hence, the search of my "root"... Down to Katong we go... A uniquely styled shop featuring authentical peranakan accessories and clothings. Those 'ba bas' aunties in the shop are really friendly...

Aston's Specialties.... Prime Ribeye Extra Cut, Mushroom Sauce Pork Chop, Black Pepper Chicken Chop, Herb Grilled fish... Slurps!!! Come with generous two side-dishes for each main course... Haha... Good customer services too...

Octopi wanted a sip too... Thanks to our tian tian de...

The day Octopi was 'conceived'... The pultry lips they share...
One of those days that required us to sweat out... From Katong we walked all the way to Parkway Parade, then to Changi Airport before back to East Coast Park again... Hectic and packed Schedule... Simply lovely... Simply Simplistic Sweetness... Love the trekking, love the shoulder sling and the 'sealion' laughter all day long... Hehehe...
